Insuring that our MBEs have access to financial capital is critical to fueling the growth and expansion of their businesses. Undercapitalization has been a major contributor to the failure of business ventures in the minority community over the years.
Over the past three years, the AMBEC, has continuously worked with a strategic network of financial strategic partners to improve their access to capital. We also recognize that Bonding is a key component to access to capital and have worked to add additional bonding sources for our Arizona MBEs.
Types of financing frequently sought by our clients include but are not limited to:
~ Loans for capital investment
~ Working capital
~ Equity financing
~ Bonding
~ Leases (property and equipment)
We help our clients access financing for company growth by providing guidance in improving their credit fitness; work with CDFIs for funding in their target areas; utilize diversity funding programs that provide access to New Market Tax Credits (NMTC); help startup MBEs find access to micro-lending and micro-funds; find private sector funding for MBE programs and initiatives.
